Katherine is a Senior Associate in the Family Law team. Understanding individual client needs and attention to detail, coupled with compassion and honesty are the primary qualities of Katherine’s work in Family Law. Her goal for each client is to achieve a positive outcome through a solutions-focused, cost-effective, and thoughtful approach.

Katherine has practiced in Family Law exclusively in since completing her studies at the University of Technology Sydney in 2015. Katherine joined Matthews Folbigg in 2022. She has previous experience working for a Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (as it was then known) as well as experience working in specialist Family Law firms in Sydney and Parramatta.

Katherine’s assists clients with a vast range of Family Law disputes, and her approach is considered and detail oriented. She works on complex property disputes, cases with international components, parenting cases with challenging circumstances, child support matters, Consent Orders and Financial Agreements and all other types of Family Law disputes. Katherine is committed to assisting clients reach amicable agreements outside of court whenever possible, including at mediation and arbitration. In the event Court proceedings are necessary, Katherine is an experienced litigator and advocate for her clients, with unique insights into the Court process and decision-making of the Judiciary thanks to her previous experience working for a Judge.

The primary focus of my work is guiding my clients through what is undoubtedly the most challenging time of their lives, and assisting them to achieve the best possible outcome for their unique circumstances. It is rewarding work and I highly value the opportunity to assist each and every one of my clients.
