We are seeking an experienced lawyer with at least 3 years PQE in which you have developed solid drafting skills and experience in wills and estate planning. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the practice leaders in our Wills and Estate Planning team. This role has the potential for you to build a referral network and to develop and manage your own team. You will be working in a professional and collegiate firm offering a multitude of services to our clients, providing quality advice and legal assistance.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- strong technical and drafting skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- a proven track record of providing, or an interest in being trained, in:
- high end estate planning,
- succession planning,
- superannuation (as it relates to estate planning)
- restructuring advice.
- at least 3 years’ recent experience from private practice or from a private wealth advisory environment.
- the ability to develop relationships from referral channels including business units, other external professionals and associations
- the ability to present seminars and maintain knowledge of all relevant laws and regulations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Insolvency and Restructuring, and Dispute Resolution Group leaders in an environment that offers a multitude of services to its clients, providing quality advice and legal representation.
You will be working with numerous insolvency practitioners throughout NSW and interstate in corporate and personal insolvency, as well as for individuals and corporations with the need for insolvency and restructuring assistance. You will be regularly representing clients in Court, primarily in the Supreme Court, Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court.
To be considered for this role, you will be an enthusiastic lawyer with 2+ years’ experience in commercial litigation, ideally with some experience acting for or against insolvency practitioners in insolvency and restructuring matters. You will work well in a team environment, and have strong technical and client relationship skills with an excellent attention to detail.
