Shevon is an Associate in the Environmental, Planning & Local Government Group, along with the Family Law.

Shevon completed her double degree of Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts-Psychology at Macquarie University in November 2021 and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law in March 2022. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in June 2022 and is on the Federal Register of Practitioners.

Prior to joining Matthews Folbigg, Shevon worked at a boutique law firm in Sydney CBD for two years where she gained experience in Land and Environment Court matters. Shevon then worked as a law clerk at Matthews Folbigg for one year prior to being admitted, gaining experience in Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Planning & Environment, Local Government and Debt Recovery matters. Since Shevon’s admission, she has continued to work in Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Planning & Environment, Local Government and has also joined the Family law team.

Shevon enjoys the challenges presented to her and is motivated to continue to further her skills and knowledge.

This is my first time in transacting with Matthewsfolbigg which I did while purchasing a property. My dealings were mainly with Jeannette Limbo who went above and beyond any other solicitor that I have used when transacting for a property. At every stage I was contacted by Jeanette to update me personally and follow up with an email. She is unbeleivably pleasant, easy to work with, meticulous and takes her work to heart. As an example, our settlement was to take place at 2:30 on the Friday. It was imperative that we settle on Friday but we hit a technical snag at our bank. Jeanette spent the whole day on the phone with the banks and the other solicitor to try to get things done and stayed after work on a Friday until we finally settled. It was really nice to see how happy Jeannette was when it was done, we were definately not a number. We were a person who needed the job done.
