Eleni Paraskevopoulos is a passionate and enthusiastic Family Law Lawyer at Parramatta. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a Solicitor of the High Court in 2015.

Eleni holds a Diploma in Law having completed her studies through the Legal Profession Admissions Board’s Diploma in Law course at the University of Sydney. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.

She has 5 years pre-law experience predominately in Family Law and has practised exclusively in Family Law since her admission.

It is the personal and complex nature of family law that makes Eleni passionate about Family Law. Her approach is to provide practical advice and solutions to resolve disputes between parties before they require litigation. She strongly recommends parties negotiate to resolve issues before commencing or continuing legal proceedings. Where agreements cannot be reached, Eleni is skilled at drafting the necessary documents to commence and progress court proceedings.

Eleni has appeared in the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, in Sydney and Parramatta. She has experience in a comprehensive range of Family Law matters including:

  • Relocation disputes;
  • Property Settlements and Proceedings;
  • Parenting proceedings;
  • Separation and Divorce Advice; and
  • Financial Agreements (often referred to as “Pre-Nups”).

Overall, her aim is to simplify the legal jargon and break down the barriers between the law and her clients with a view to providing real solutions and strategies in all aspects of family law including property and parenting matters.
